Extra Cape Town Show added to Jeff Dunham Tour

Jeff Dunham is doing it again. With Johannesburg tickets sold out and only limited tickets available for Sun City, Durban and Cape Town, an extra show has been added to the Cape Town run of his latest international tour “Controlled Chaos” to meet the overwhelming demand at the box office.
Dunham’s global appeal is undeniable. His television specials and series have been the highest rated programming in Comedy Central history, his DVD sales have reached seven million units, his videos have received a half a billion views on You Tube, and his live concerts have become mega-events played in front of sold-out arenas worldwide. A video of Jeff featuring his character Achmed the Dead Terrorist remains in the top ten most “favorited” and 40 most “liked” of all time on YouTube.
Jeff’s latest, much-anticipated fourth stand-up special, Controlled Chaos, became the third most watched program in the history of Comedy Central within days of airing.
A spokesperson from Comedy Central Africa refers to Jeff Dunham as “Comedy Royalty”.

With two new characters, fans in Cape Town, Durban, Sun City and Johannesburg, can see firsthand why he has been voted “the most popular comedian in the United States.”
Along with two new characters, fans will still get to see Walter, the grumpy retiree; the beer-swilling, NASCAR-loving and resolutely red neck Bubba J; the furry and manic Peanut; José Jalapeño, the spicy pepper from South of the border; and the bumbling skeletal Achmed the Dead Terrorist. They may have all been conceived and hand crafted by Dunham, but his characters, who are anything but dummies, have now taken on a life of their own, each with their own legion of fans.
