ZIP ZAP GALA DINNER RAISES R550K AT 20TH BIRTHDAY ART OF ROCK 2

In celebration of the Zip Zap Circus School’s 20th Birthday, Zip Zap is hosting Art of Rock 2 from 14-16 September.

At a fundraising gala event held on Saturday 8th September at the Zip Zap dome to celebrate the schools 20th birthday, guests raised a life-changing amount of R545200.00 for the circus school.

Choreographed to the live energetic music of South African musicians Freshlyground and internationally acclaimed artist Paul du Toit painting live on stage, the aerial artistry of the trapeze acts and the circus magic of the performers left guests spellbound. Guests were treated to a three-course dinner with fine wine and an auction was held to raise funds for the Zip Zap Circus School. Paul du Toit auctioned off 3 paintings, which were one of the most sought after items on the night.

To continue the celebrations, Freshlyground and Zip Zap will be rocking the Zip Zap dome for three unique and unprecedented public shows later this week. The shows will take place on Friday 14th September at 7pm, Saturday 15th at 7pm and a final matinee show on Sunday 16th September at 3pm.
