November is always a fabulous month at the Baxter as we welcome into the theatre some of our wonderful festive season entertainment. This year we’re delighted to play host to a few of our oldest and best friends on stage with us.
Our line-up in November includes the multi-talented Marc Lottering, the dazzling Pieter-Dirk Uys and the sublime Alistair Izobell with his partner-in-crime Clarence Ford of Heart 104.9FM. There music, comedy, drama and satire available to choose from right now, as well as some incredibly talented musicians from the South African College of Music.

(20 Nov – 5 Jan) I DON’T WORK ON SUNDAYS
One of South Africa’s best-loved sons, Marc Lottering, returns to the Baxter Concert Hall for a full run of his new comic material, entitled I Don’t Work On Sundays. Marc road-tested his new jokes earlier in the year on a small crowd and now it’s time for us all to see the results. With impeccable comic timing and a deep knowledge of South African audiences, it’s sure to be the comic hit of the festive season. Book Here

Cape Town’s best-loved songs come to life in Alistair and Clarence’s Radio Classics this month. A full eight-piece band led by Don-Veno Prins, together with the charisma of Alistair Izobell, singing sensation Nur Abrahams and newcomer Edith Plaatjies guarantee a night to be remembered.
