The Cape Philharmonic Orchestra
Two brothers, one Bruch … Martin Panteleev and Vesko Eschkenazy, born in Bulgaria and with careers across the world, will meet at Kirstenbosch in the Bruch Violin Concerto with the Cape Philharmonic. This concert is part of the CPO’s International Summer Classical Music Festival. Panteleev, the CPO’s principal conductor, and Eschkenazy, concertmaster in the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam, bring the house down whenever the play together. The CPO’s festival takes place for the 11th time this year. Other works on the programme are Capriccio Italian by Tchaikovsky and Rossini’s Barber Overture.
