Join Artjamming for a bright, colour filled Easter holiday programme
For first week of April all Artjamming stores in and around Cape Town are running an Easter School Holiday programme for the week. Children are invited to come and have fun with paint while at the same time develop their imagination and creative skills.
Monday, the 1st of April, the programme kicks off with a chocolate-sweet special (and it is no April fool’s!). With every stretch box canvas session purchased on that day, the little one will receive a free sand art session and an Easter egg.
Tuesday and Thursday children can discover the art of comics. Create a totally original character and animate it in a short comic sequence. Children will develop a classic comic style using primary colours, bold lettering and expressive action drawing. At the end of the course this artwork will be copied onto a canvas.
Wednesday children will use a variety of materials to create their own Jackson Pollock collage on a canvas board and then learn the art of splatter painting to create their very own artwork.
The Easter holiday programme ends on Friday the 5th of April with Mosaic Art. Children will learn to mosaic tile and grout their very own artwork.
