Hinds Brothers Acoustic Tour of The Cape

Durban based brother duo Aden and Wren Hinds AKA The Hinds Brothers will embark upon a 2 week acoustic tour of the Cape starting in East London on Sunday 24^th November and culminating with 4 dates in Cape Town from the 2^nd – 5^th December. Hinds Brothers have recently released their full length debut album ‘Ocean of Milk’ to much critical acclaim nationwide, including a 4 star review in the Rolling Stone as well as a 5 star review in Audio & Video. The brothers are excited to take their new sounds on the road and connect with new and old fans along the way. Please see performance dates below.

The Album

Two years in the making, ‘Ocean of Milk’ has become an album with heart and a living tale. Produced by Aden & Wren Hinds, the album was recorded in no less than 7 studios in Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Pretoria, and features 19 of South Africa’s top musicians. It was mixed by SAMA award winning producer Dan Roberts and mastered in New York by Alan Douches (Sufjan Stevens, Roky Erikson). Incredibly ‘Ocean of Milk’ has a wholly cohesive variety and depth to it that resonates with the great albums of yore. The harmonic resonance of the two distinct voices and the brothers reflective musical composition communicates profundity, bringing meaning and nourishment to an art that has been somewhat neglected in recent times.
