Sounds Fringe Festival set to create a buzz on Cape Town City streets

The first Sounds Fringe Festival is a kaleidoscope of sound in the historic centre of the city from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 March celebrating the magic of local musical talent. More than 40 top local artists feature over 60 performances and include Farryl Purkiss, Alvin Dyers, Errol Dyers, Beatenberg, the Rudimentals, Saudiq Kahn, Sterling EQ, Jeremy Olivier and many more. Venues are all within walking distance of St George’s Mall, Wale Street and Greenmarket Square.
There’s music everywhere from noon until 10pm over the four days. Whether you enjoy rock, folk, acoustic guitar, Latin, afro pop, township jazz or simply music for your soul then rubbing shoulders with old and new artists makes this a fun outing for music lovers across the city.
