What can be more relaxing than a star-lit summer’s evening spent outdoors watching popular old film classics? The Galileo Open Air Cinema offers this experience every Thursday from 6 November to 30 April on the Croquet Lawn, above the V&A Waterfront’s Ulundi Parking Garage. Viewers can choose to have dinner at any one of over 80 eateries in the Waterfront, or they can opt to bring their own picnic baskets and take in the unsurpassed views the V&A offers. Chairs and blankets will be available for hire. The event opens at 6pm, and screenings will begin between 7.30pm and 8.15pm, depending on the time of year and the different light conditions.
