This St Patrick’s Day, 17th March, The Piano Bar, will be celebrating the Luck of the Irish and treating its patrons to a host of traditional Irish foods and top class Irish entertainment. As luck may have it, this is the second of many exciting handpicked events that The Piano Bar will be presenting throughout the course of the year.
On setting up for the event, The Piano Bar’s Director, Gabriel Gonzalez, had this to say: “We are a diverse team encompassing many nationalities and therefore found it fitting to join in and promote the celebrations of such a highly praised and anticipated international event.”

The specialty menu items on offer include traditional dishes with a twist, such as: angers and mash, a beer battered fish dish, a vegetarian dish and a chocolate brownie dessert to delight and surprise guests. In addition, there will be 2 mouth-watering themed cocktails as well as Guinness and beer specials all night.

The evening’s entertainment promises to be an exciting and lively showcase, with the likes of a traditional Irish Girl Band and a champion Irish Dancer, Ellen Agnew taking centre stage. With The Piano Bar’s late trading license, the festivities are set to carry on until the early hours of the morning and provide guests with ample time to practice their jigs and traditional step dancing.

The St Patrick’s Day event will take place at The Piano Bar located at 47 Napier Street, De Waterkant. Doors open at 4PM. Booking is essential and can be made on 021 418 1096 or by email: bookings@thepianobar.co.za.
