KIDS RIDE AND EAT FOR FREE THIS WINTER

Kids will benefit from a visit to Cape Point during the winter school holidays this year with a free ride on the electric powered Flying Dutchman Funicular when accompanied by a full paying adult, and a free kids meal for every main meal ordered at the Two Oceans Restaurant.

With the Table Mountain National Park My Green Card, there is no need to pay for the entire family to enter Cape Point. The TMNP My Green Card offers great value as without the card, just one adult entry to Cape Point costs R110.

Capetonians are encouraged to purchase a My Green Card that allows the card holder 12 free entries into any of the Table Mountain National Park’s pay points over a 12 month period, at a cost of R110.

Once inside Cape Point, adults can purchase a return ticket on the legendary Funicular for R52 and their children can hop on with them for free. The whole family can experience the breathtaking sites of Dias Beach as they make their way through the dense fynbos up to the Lighthouse.

After the excitement of being at the tip of the Cape Peninsula, why not visit the Two Oceans Restaurant and sample some of the delicious food on offer. This winter, families can get one kids meal free for every main meal that is ordered. Children need to be seated in the restaurant for the special to apply, and no takeaways will be permitted.

The Cape Point winter special will run during government school holidays from 27 June to 19 July 2015.

Cape Point Nature Reserve is open 7 days a week (7am to 5pm April to September, 6am to 6pm October to March), with the Flying Dutchman Funicular, Two Oceans Restaurant and the curio stores open from 9am to 5pm.
