Falke Winter Trail Run

Help shake off the winter chill with the second event in this series which will be celebrated in this magnificent setting. Hand-built trails in the Simonsberg Conservancy with amazing views and various terrains from Fynbos to forest to vineyards.
DATE: 23 August 2015
VENUE: Uitkyk Wine Estate, on R44 about 12 km from Stellenbosch
REGISTRATION: From 07h00 at the venue
START TIMES & DISTANCES: 15km: 08h30, 11.5km: 08h45, 7km: 09h00
COST: Pre entries (closing date: 18 August)
7km – R85, 11.5km – R105 & 15km – R115
Late entries (taken on event day, if available):
7km – R100, 11.5km – R120 & 15km – R130
TIMING: Timing will be done with Amarider Trail Tags. No tag, no time: available for rent for R20 on the day or buy for R100 and use at all our events!
ROUTE DESCRIPTIONS: The Simonsberg trail system is one of the most spectacular in the Cape and exciting new trails have been built for this event. The climbs are rewarded with singletrack on various terrain and views of the winelands.

Make sure you pre-enter to take advantage of the discount and to avoid disappointment as entries are limited! All finishers to receive a medal. You can choose if you’d like to be timed by Amarider Trail Tag as the results are immediately available on the website. The refreshment stations will have Powerade, fruit & nuts and Coke at the finish for all!
Kids play area, coffee, catering and wine tasting for you to enjoy after the event.
