Bientangs Cave

Bientang’s Cave is situated in the heart of the best land-based whale viewing area in the world. Our restaurant is no more than 10m from the water’s edge, and is a prime tourist destination overlooking the only whale sanctury on the African continent and Marine Reserve on the Western Cape coastline.
Bientang’s Cave is also known as the best whale-watching restaurant in the world. The Southern Right whale visits our shores every year from May until December, and here you can sit on our deck, enjoying delicious seafood and drinking the best wines that the Cape has to offer while watching whales lazing in the ocean a mere 100m away.
