AWAKE – ROOFTOP PARTY

Love Peace Techno brings Cape Town partygoers, Awake – a party that’s all about the music and location.  It’s the season to let your hair down, to party and to rejuvenate your spirit.  It’s the time to take back what the long year has stolen from you – your flair, your energy and your mirth.

Awake is an underground music event series taking place in South Africa, the USA and the Netherlands, which is based on the idea that we are all one and we are all connected in some way. The exclusive day party for only 150 people is happening the 23^rd of December on the rooftop of the Penthouse on Long in Cape Town and is followed by an official after party at Chukkachurri.

The day will be filled with sun, music, drinks and entertainment. Partygoers can expect to experience the music genres of Deep House, Techno, Minimal Techno and Techno House from the DJs, Diggin 4 Dodge; Floyd Lavine, Vanessa Holliday; Ian Skene, and Ross Winters.

To new comers The Rooftop is a secret venue six floors up in the sky.  It offers a panoramic view of Cape Town and is the perfect spot for a summer party. This rooftop has also hosted Kinky Disco, Vinyl Digz, Only100 and other successful events.

The show must go on. As soon as the party on the rooftop is over, the vibe will move on to the afterparty at Chukkachurri where Levi Botes, Danalog, Keren Onay and B-Type will keep the beats flowing into the early hours of the morning.  Chukkachurri is a venue that caters for the underground scene and offers an intimate atmosphere, ideal for the after party.

Awake aims to also spread awareness of less privileged people and encourages attendees to bring any clothes, blankets or anything they believe might help to the party which will to be donated to those less privileged during the festive season.
