Their music is suitable for just about any type of event/function, from a Rock Festival, Dance floor (upbeat groove) to easy listening – relaxed atmosphere (sun- downers or a wine tasting/festival)
Biography: Natasha Meister – the 22yr old, Canadian born, award winning prodigy singer/songwriter has been dubbed “The Meister” by local and international fans and supporters and it stands to reason when you see this youngster perform. After just two short years in the industry she was recognized as a rising star with incredible passion and seemingly limitless talent. To credit her name, NM is the only woman in Africa who is endorsed by both Fender (USA) and Lakewood (Germany) guitar makers. Recently joined by drummer Lance Rhoda, who has performed with the likes of Danny K, Loyiso and David Kramer as well as renowned Bass player Revaughn Sackanary who has worked with national and international artists with various exciting outfits – this trio has groove and fusion that is not easily matched. Natasha released her debut album “Half Way” in April 2012, with the single “Safe In The Silence” making it’s mark in the SA scene both on National Radio and TV.
Some of the tracks off Natasha’s album have also been play-listed in various parts the world – including: Canada, Australia and the USA. She caught the attention of international superstar Daniel Bedingfield, who insisted that she join him to collaborate in late 2012 for his South African tour.
Having performed with some of the best and brightest stars in the SA scene, such as, Arno Carstens(Springbok Nude Girls), Jimmy Dludlu, Piet Botha, Albert Frost, Guy Buttery, Steve Newman, Tony Cox, Ard Matthews (Just Jinger), Henry Steel Jnr. (Karen Zoid) and Dan Patlansky, to name a few, she is looking at bigger and better things to come.
Natasha is currently working on her 2nd album with renowned producer Theo Crous and is set to release in 2014. Band: Natasha performs both as a solo artist as well as with her trio called: Natasha Meister Band.
