Legendary pianist David Helfgott announces Farewell, South Africa! Tour

With thousands of adoring fans all over the world, the legendary pianist, David Helfgott, returns to South Africa for a final concert tour in September. His Farewell, South Africa! Tour will include performances in Pretoria (7), Johannesburg (8), and Cape Town (14+15).

Helfgott became a household name after the Oscar-winning film Shine – based on his life – gripped the imagination of people around the world. His career as concert pianist has taken him to the most renowned concert stages of the world, including regular tours to South Africa, performing to sold-out houses.

After nearly 20 years of extensive touring he has, however, decided to cut back on his demanding schedule. Helfgott loves playing for his South African fans and this will be the last opportunity to see this extraordinary performer live on stage!
