Diemersfontein Pinotage On Tap

South Africa’s most anticipated wine festival series on the annual calendar, the Diemersfontein PINOTAGE ON TAP, is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year.

‘The People’s Pinotage’, as it is affectionately known, reigned supreme at the 2014 Drinks International Wine Tourism Awards, by nabbing the coveted ‘World’s Best Wine Event’ award for the Diemersfontein Pinotage On Tap.

Having rapidly growing over the last 10 years, this exciting trio of events (taking place in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban), draws crowds of more than 2500 per event. The Pinotage On Tap series kicks off in Cape Town at Diemersfontein Wine Estate on the 11th of October.
The focus of the 3-city day festival is that Diemersfontein, celebrated as South Africa’s patriotic cultivar – Pinotage – will provide guests with the unique opportunity of tasting the prestigious wine straight from the barrel; all whilst tatesting delicious food, and being entertained by well-known musicians like Farryl Purkiss & Daniel Baron.
