MINNIE & JOHNSON
South African darlings of the cabaret stage, Emile Minnie and Godfrey Johnson, join forces and hands to bring you an evening of fun, humour and fabulous songs. Fleur du Cap winner Godfrey Johnson and SAMA award nominee Emile Minnie perform raucous hits from the sixties to the naughties with just a piano, a clarinet and a wine glass for percussion. Come and see these two captivating artists light up the stage with their humour and energy. Songs include “Love is a stranger” by Eurythmics, “Holding out for a hero” by Bonnie Tyler and “It’s raining men” by Geri Halliwell.

JEAN O
Jean O, is a newcomer to Café Manhattan audiences, and we are thrilled to have him as part of our entertainment lineup.
Jean is influenced by the likes of Michael Buble, Michael Jackson, Brian McKnight, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Bryan Adams, John Legend and more.
Any of these artistes will be privileged to have Jean pay tribute to them with his incredible voice that will make anyone fall for him.

DAYLE SCOTT
Dayle has performed with various bands over the years. In 2004 he was the front man in “The Entertainer” – The music of Billy Joel. In this show he was on Lead Vocals, Piano and Keyboards. The show ran at On Broadway for 3 weeks and also performed for the MVGs at Grand West on Father’s Day 2004. In 2006 Dayle joined cover band “Cole Street” on vocals/keyboards and had loads of fun performing with them at various venues. Come and sing along as Dayle takes us on a memory trip to the tunes of Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, CCR, Elton John and many more favourites.

ZION 3
ZION3 have known each other since tiny kids, and their paths kept crossing until one day whilst driving to a 21st birthday party, they were all singing in the car, they started harmonising and realised that maybe they could make something big out of this. And thus the natural talents of ZION3 were discovered. Bradley van der Zandt of Strandfontein, and cousins Dillon Powell and Tashwin Manuel who hail from Mitchell’s Plain form the group. We are delighted to be hosting their first public performance at Café Manhattan under the directorship of Glenn Swart. They count John Legend, Michael Buble, Boys 2 Men, Chris Brown, Daniel Bedingfield, Luther Vandross and Nat King Cole as their many influences.
