Hugely popular group Freshlyground will be the star act at the Old Mutual Summer Sunset concert at Kirstenbosch on Sunday February 16. It is guaranteed to be a sell-out event.
Freshlyground have managed to navigate a successful 10 years in the South African music industry and have graced stages all over the world. Their ascension was rapid – they became a household name in South Africa in 2004 with the release of the smash-hit album Nomvula, and every album released since has generated at least one radio hit: Doo Be Doo, I’d Like, Pot Belly, Fire is Low and the 2010’s world-wide hit with Shakira, WakaWaka.
In October 2012 Freshlyground released their 5th studio album: Take Me To The Dance.
