Delvera Hi-Tec Full Moon Hikes
The season of these fun & popular hikes kicks off with two hikes end of October! Rated as the most beautiful sunset & moonrise in the Cape, you’ll hike through the Renosterveld Conservancy to the top of Klapmutskoppie to see spectacular views of the winelands and Table Mountain in the distance.
Dates: Sunday, 28 October & Monday 29 October
Times: Arrival by 17h00 no later than 18h00
The earlier the better, so you have more time to spend on the mountain!
Sunset 19h12- Moonrise 18h09 (on Sunday) & Moonrise 19h05 (on Monday)
Venue: Dirtopia Trail Centre, Delvera Farm, R44, between Klapmuts & Stellenbosch
Distance: 9,75km total, 5km option with farm vehicle assistance to half-way mark.
What to bring: Don’t forget to bring something warm to wear after dark! Wear hiking shoes – you are climbing a mountain. Torches needed – also for sale at Trail Centre.
General: Snacks (even picnics) & drinks available at Trail Centre.
