Delvera Hi-tec Full Moon Hikes 26/27 January

Kick-off the New Year and celebrate the first Full Moon of 2013, with climbing Klapmutskoppie to see  stunning views of the Winelands and Table Mountain in the distance.

Date: Saturday 26 January / Sunday 27 January (actual Full Moon)
Time:  Arrival between 17h00 & 18h30 to start hike. Sunset 19:55 (moonrise: 19:15) Saturday, Sunset 19:55 (moonrise 19:52) Sunday
Venue:  Dirtopia Trail Centre, Delvera Farm, R44, between Klapmuts & Stellenbosch
Cost: R60 per person (R25 for kids under 10)  including the Conservancy permit, shuttles, marked trails & map.
Distance:  9,75km total, 5km option with farm vehicle assistance to half-way mark.
What to bring:  Don’t forget to bring something warm to wear after dark.  Wear hiking shoes – you are climbing a mountain. Torches needed – also for sale at Trail Centre.

General: Snacks (even picnics) & drinks available at Trail Centre.

Delvera Hi-tec Valentine Sunset Hike 14 February

Celebrate this special night in a very romantic, but adventurous way with your loved one, family or friends!

Date: Thursday 14 February
Time:  Arrival between 17h00 & 18h30 to start hike. Sunset 19:40
Venue:  Dirtopia Trail Centre, Delvera Farm, R44, between Klapmuts & Stellenbosch
Cost: R60 per person (R25 for kids under 10)  including a glass of bubbly (juice for kids) at the top, the Conservancy permit, shuttles, marked trails & map.
