LABORIE’S CHRISTMAS IN WINTER – IT’S A FAMILY AFFAIR

Located at the award-winning wine farm, Laborie, in Paarl, the Lazy Days Market brings a South African winter Christmas market to the heart of this Winelands town on Saturday, 28 July – with a multitude of experiences in store!
Share in the joy and celebrate the magic of the winter season as visitors sample the many Christmas delicacies on offer – sip and savour a complimentary glass of Glühwein, tuck into delicious mince pies and purchase traditional Christmas fruit cake to take home and enjoy!
Soak up the festive atmosphere as Mario the saxophonist keeps visitors entertained with traditional and modern Christmas carols, and watch the eyes of excited, cherry-cheeked children, bundled in winter clothes, light up at the sight of Father Christmas handing out sweets. The life-size Christmas tree is bound to attract its fair share of attention.
The Christmas-themed market, open from 9am until 2pm, will also offer an array of exciting and varied lifestyle goods, including delectable freshly baked breads, aromatic coffee, cheese, olives and other local fresh products as well as arts and craft stalls.
Laborie produces some of the best Méthode Cap Classique bubblies; an array of award-winning wines as well as an estate brandy. Visitors can stay overnight in the tranquil guest house or enjoy a delicious meal at Harvest.
An exciting new addition to the farm’s many offerings is the Cecil Skotnes art exhibition, featuring 30 works by this highly acclaimed South African artist, which has been partnered with the Laborie Limited Collection wines. A permanent exhibition at Laborie, his masterpieces are on display in the Cellar Door, Manor House and in the restaurant.
