Regional finals of the Miss SA contest

Please join Sun International and judges Kieno Kammies Cape Talk DJ, ex-Miss SA Sonja Raciti and Robyn Cooke fashion blogger, to meet the prettiest young women in the province at the regional finals of the Miss SA contest.

Entrants will gather at GrandWest from 9h00 on Saturday, 11 August for registration and judging should be complete by 13h30 to 14h00 when the judges will introduce the new Miss Western Cape and her two princesses.

Please note that judging is a closed process but interviews with entrants is permitted and anyone interested will be able to interview the winners and the judges after the judging process is complete.

Miss South Africa Selection Criteria

All Miss SA applicants must:

• Be at least 18 years of age and not older than 25 years of age on 1 November 2012.
• Be a South African citizen, in possession of a valid South African ID or passport.
• Be in possession of a Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Not be married and never have had a marriage annulled.
• Not be engaged.
• Never have given birth and not be pregnant.
• Not have any visible tattoos.
• Have no criminal record.
