For a wine and food experience fit for the gods don’t miss Tuning the Vine between Friday, 31 October and Sunday 2 November at the V&A Waterfront Lookout. Visitors can interact with talented young winemakers during short Wine Tuning crash courses. At the Taste Theatre they can learn how to pair food and wine and take a 45-minute tour with a sommelier. Cocktail bars and special craft beer stalls will cater for those more partial to hops while six food trucks will feed even the most ravenous of appetites. Adventurous spirits can visit the temporary tattoo booth while a line-up of cool DJs and live bands will ensure the fun vibes don’t stop. The event is open between 12pm and 8.30pm on Friday and Saturday and between 12pm and 5pm on Sunday. Tickets cost R150 per person.
