Lebo: Drama Queen

Most people will probably remember Lebo Mathosa as the lead vocalist and dancer for the multi-platinum-selling Boom Shaka. Her fans, on the other hand, will have followed her solo carreer from strength to strength, which has, for the past five years, been nothing less than extremely impressive. Inasmuch as Lebo’s talent has been recognised by audiences within S.A., she has also managed to wow foreign crowds from around the world (including the Queen of Malaysia).

Her latest album ‘Drama Queen’ brings together some old skool beats and manages to successfully combine them with contemporary style making it an extremely viby and enjoyable. As a testament to the album’s (or at least Lebo’s) immediate success, some of the songs have already found their way onto local dancefloors and radio stations. Given a few more months, this album is certianly going to find popularity amongst lovers of local music.
