The much-loved wine tasting evenings at the Vineyard Hotel continue in February, introducing guests to some of the finest wines from a variety of estates in South Africa.
23 February brings the wines of Diemersdal to the Vineyard Hotel. These dry-land vineyards develop concentrated flavours, which are then perfectly ripened by the cooling sea-breezes of the Atlantic Ocean. Together with hands-on care from the Louw family, this results in premium-quality wines with prominent varietal character. Producing predominately Sauvignon Blanc, the Diemersdal range also includes a Chardonnay, Shiraz, Merlot and Pinotage, among others.
A representative from each of the respective estates will host the hour-long tastings from 18h00. Tastings are free of charge.
